Bound copy of the last revised manuscript of Rankin's Lincoln recollections, with inscription "to E. Adelaide Young, my secretary from Henry B. Rankin, Springfield, Ill. Oct. 3rd 1924". The book was published in 1916. Includes photograph of Rankin and copy of a 1964 newspaper article re: the donation of the book to the library, and Rankin's controversial assertion that Lincoln was engaged to Ann Rutledge.
